iconsys maintains certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards

12/07/2023

We are delighted to announce that, following a successful audit process, we have been recertified to ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety, ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems, and ISO 14001 for Environmental Management – all of which were certified by LRQA, a UKAS accredited body.  These standards provide a management framework to help improve best practices within our organisation and helps us exceed customer expectations and is why we are a ‘preferred supplier’ for so many businesses.

Pam Phillips, Senior Auditor, LRQA said:

It’s great to work with organisations like iconsys that see the certification of their management systems as an effective way to demonstrate their commitment to quality, environment, and health & safety across their operations.

We look forward to working with the team at iconsys further and helping them achieve their goals for compliance.

ISO 9001: 2015 – Quality Management System

We benefit from using the ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System to demonstrate to other businesses our commitment to quality which is evident as one of our core values. This is further evidenced through our bespoke processes – from initial quotation, through design works to job completion, each individual along the way has the relevant training and experience to carry out the works in line with the highest standards.

ISO 14001: 2015 – Environmental Management System

We also have an Environmental Management System in place, certified to ISO 14001 international standard which shows that we consider all environmental issues relevant to its operations, such as air pollution, water and sewage issues, waste management, soil contamination, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and resource use and efficiency.

ISO 45001: 2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System

Implementing the ISO 45001: 2018 standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management System has recognised our capabilities to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of employees, visitors and anyone affected by our activities; and establish legal compliance.  An Occupational Health and Safety Management System can help to manage workplace risk, improve employee safety and create better and safer working conditions. It is more important now than ever to ensure an adequate system is in place to establish a robust framework and reporting system to enable continual improvement.

Our QHSE Manager, Graham Cowan, commented:

Certification to these ISO standards further evidences iconsys’ continued commitment to implementing effective management systems and provide our clients with confidence in our abilities to deliver an exceptional service with due regard to the health, safety and wellbeing of our workers, and minimising environmental impacts of their works.
