iconsys appoints Edwin Derry as Director of Engineering and Innovation

iconsys are delighted to welcome Edwin Derry to the company as Director of Engineering and Innovation.  The appointment of Edwin further strengthens our management team and supports our planned 2020+ growth strategy.

Edwin joins iconsys backed by a lengthy and successful engineering career having amassed over 30 years of experience in the control system & automation industries.  Edwin’s career has seen him work in a number of technical leadership roles and can boast a proven track record of building and leading successful multi-disciplinary technical teams.  His automated engineering experience and innovation knowledge will prove to be invaluable to iconsys as our vision statement… is to lead customers into the digital era.

Edwin will be responsible for developing a growth and directional strategy for the engineering department, supervising and leading the engineering team, and overseeing the continued and successful delivery of all engineered projects consistent with our customers’ expectations.  In-line with a number of our core values, Edwin will be responsible for organising the strategic development and training of our engineers and technical staff by continuing to grow and nurture an innovative engineering culture that will foster an environment of continuous improvement.
