On your Bike

In May 2012, Iconsys registered and took up the government’s Bike2Work scheme.

Setting up the Bike2Work scheme was very easy and has proved to be very popular within the organisation, as a number of employees have purchased bikes through the initiative.  The advantages certainly outweigh the negatives. From an organisational point of view it is in keeping with our company ethos, of “doing our bit for the environment”.

We are having a positive effect by reducing our carbon footprint and additionally promoting improved health & fitness from cycling to work. A recent study found that people who commute to work by bike were less likely to call in sick.  From a financial prospective everyone’s a winner.

Iconsys would like to recommend the Bike2Work scheme to any employer.
