A Day of Reflection and Celebration: iconsys Business Update Followed by Summer Woodland Fete

Last week, iconsys marked a milestone day that brought the whole business together — first for a serious look at where the company is heading, and then to celebrate how far it’s come. 

Business Update: Setting the Direction for Growth 

Teams from across iconsys gathered for the company’s annual Business Update, reviewing performance over the past year and aligning on priorities for the next stage of growth. While market conditions across UK industry remain challenging, iconsys’s focus remains firmly on the future. 

The event introduced three new strategic pillars that will guide the business going forward: 

• People & Culture — creating an environment where people can thrive, develop and succeed 

• Execution Excellence — continuously improving how the business works, collaborates and delivers for customers 

• Sustainable Growth — building a stronger, more profitable business through long-term customer partnerships 

Every function across the business — Sales, Services, Engineering, Production, People & Culture and Marketing — aligned around this shared direction, with a focus on strengthening collaboration, improving performance, and delivering greater value for customers. As iconsys continues to evolve as a lifecycle industrial technology partner, the business remains committed to investing in its people, capabilities and customer relationships to support long-term success. Thanks were extended to everyone who presented, and to every member of the iconsys team for the part they play in the bigger picture. 

Summer Woodland Fete: Celebrating Together 

With the serious business of the day done, the team headed out to the woodland area at the iconsys Technology Hub in Telford for the Summer Woodland Fete — a relaxed afternoon to unwind and celebrate another successful year. 

Colleagues from across the business came together, with a few familiar former faces joining in too. Guests enjoyed live music from Tom Byrne, which set a brilliant atmosphere for the afternoon, alongside delicious food courtesy of Spitting Pig, plus candy floss, a coconut shy, and a range of fun games and activities. The fete was a chance to say a huge thank you to the iconsys team for their hard work, dedication and commitment throughout the year — and, somewhat miraculously, the weather largely held up too. 

Together, the two events captured the spirit of the day: a clear-eyed look at the road ahead, followed by a well-earned celebration of the people driving it. With the day now behind them, the team looks forward to marking iconsys’s 40th anniversary next year.
