Our food and beverage customer were grappling with a number of challenges related to obsolete and unsupported machinery which resulted in an over reliance on redundant equipment for critical operations.
As a knock-on effect this would lead to prolonged downtime due to difficulties in fault identification and resolution.
Compliance with new ATEX safety standards
This project addressed challenges with obsolete and unsupported equipment for a food and beverage customer by delivering a comprehensive strategy.
We began with a detailed assessment of their machinery and processes, identifying critical pain points and prioritising equipment upgrades. Our ATEX-certified engineers conducted safety reviews, classifying hazardous areas in the facility.
A phased migration strategy was designed to replace obsolete equipment with modern, industry-compliant alternatives tailored to their needs, ensuring scalability and sustainability. Custom hardware specifications exceeded safety and performance standards, while a new front-end control interface enhanced functionality and efficiency.
In-house training equipped the customer’s engineers to maximise the technology’s benefits, supported by comprehensive manuals for ongoing reference. Our skilled team ensured seamless integration of mechanical and software components, followed by rigorous testing during commissioning.
The project concluded with 24/7 service support, ensuring the customer’s operations remain reliable and future ready.
Once again, a big thank you to iconsys for all your efforts in getting this in and over the line. Your professionalism has been second to none and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you all.
