Job Responsibilities
Present iconsys to potential clients through direct or digital communication
Provide a high quality service to potential and existing customers
Maintain the Company’s reputation as a leading edge systems integrator
Responsible for generation of new leads and making suitable appointments. Motivated to ensure all sales opportunities are explored
Travel will be a major factor and overnight stops may be required. Overseas travel can be expected from time to time
Successful management of the sales process from lead generation, pitching iconsys, asking questions, pitching the solution, negotiating and closing the order through to handing over a project to the Engineering team and kick-off meeting with customer
Prepare proposals and specifications with the full support of the Sales Applications team and in accordance with iconsys procedures
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of issues affecting system integrator companies and the drives, digital and automation industry. Maintain an awareness of competitor activities
Representing iconsys at industry events and tradeshows in order to gain new business leads and contacts
Comply with all relevant standards and work to the Company’s ISO9001 & ISO14001 registered
To comply with all Company procedures as defined in various documents including the Quality Manual, Staff Manual and Health & Safety Manual
Be pro-active in supporting other company activities such as supporting colleagues
To maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers and company staff

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Preferably qualified to degree level in Engineering
A minimum of five years’ previous experience in a similar role
A knowledge of systems integration incorporating Variable Speed Drives, PLCs, Robotics, and SCADA/HMI products, MES/MIS, Simulation, Smart solutions and autonomous mobile applications
Proven track record in selling solutions to a variety of industrial applications
Have established customer contacts at senior level
